What’s on in August 2026: Cultural Calendar

29 July

It’s been a very hot start to the summer so far, and I hope that all of you are managing alright! It has cooled down a bit, but there’s still plenty of sunshine around for everyone to enjoy. That being said, there’s lots on for everyone to enjoy throughout August from live music, live theatre, art workshops, community festivals and much more!

The list below is not meant to be exhaustive, but cherry picking some of the best things to do in August at our cultural venues in and around Lancaster and Morecambe, as well as one or two events from further afield.
