From the 7th – 13th of September 2026, Food and Drink Week will once again be returning across the city, with lots of businesses taking part with myriad discounts and offers.
This brilliant festival shines a light on Lancaster’s great food and drink scene, and gives locals and visitors a chance to explore some of the options that they might not have known about, or considered, before now. A lot of Lancaster’s restaurants pride themselves on their local spirit; using craft-brews from Lancaster Brewery, spirits from the Lake District, or produce from regional farms, it’s important to these businesses that their food and drink sings the praises of the North-West!
As for me, you know how important it is to me that we promote local business and sustainable food practices, so I’m excited to find those businesses that really work hard to celebrate our beautiful region through their food and drink, and to make the most of the upcoming Food & Drink Week.
Those taking part include: Atkinsons Coffee, The Borough, Quarterhouse, The Sun, The Waterwitch, Tipple, Diggles, Quite Simply French and many more! So, as you can see, there’s something for everyone – whether it’s breakfast, coffee, or a three course meal that you’re looking for.
